GREENSBORO -- High prices at the gas pump are not only causing many people to buy more fuel efficient cars, but they're also causing a small, but growing, number of people to turn to motorcycles, scooters and mopeds to cut down on the cost of commuting.

The Harford County Sheriff's Department is investigating a crime spree in which someone has been stealing motorcycles and scooters all summer.
